Review on Canon Image CLASS D1620 Multifunction Wireless Laser Printer - Monochrome with AirPrint (2223C024) - Compact and Powerful Printer for Office Use by William Byrd

I bought this camera because I had a Canon camera which was excellent equipment. This reputation was not passed on to this printer. This is absolute junk. I should have been alarmed by the fact that the instruction manual is over 700 pages. 700 PAGES! The printer won't do the simplest things. For example, print a document. His work is completely random and intermittent. About half the time it will refuse to print within 20-30 minutes. In other cases, it won't print until the next day when it prints the 5 documents you unsuccessfully tried to print the previous day. It prints on both sides of the paper, even though the settings say it should only print on one side. The touchscreen takes 5 or 10 swipes before accepting input. Sometimes it doesn't accept any input at all. When you add paper you have to find a lot of hidden settings before it works. I called tech support and the wait was four hours. When I finally finished the technician couldn't fix the problems so he wanted to get a more experienced technician to call me. I never received a call. I would send it back but initially it took almost an hour to unwrap the complex pieces of foam and tape and to arrange the notes making rewrapping almost impossible. I'm pretty sure Beelzebub designed this thing. I can describe more problems, but I refuse to spend more time on this thing. $350+ wasted. So much for Canon's reputation.
