Great quality camera that won't break the bank

This isn't a $600+ Sony or Canon camera but for the price it offers about 70% image quality. Quick note: if you plan on using it for streaming or meetings where it needs to be 1-2 feet away from you, consider buying the 2.8-12mm version instead as it has a wider view. what will be better if you sit next to him. This (5-50mm version) has a narrow field of view. So if it's close to you, it's a larger shot of your face that you can't zoom out of (unless it's physically further away from you). However, the quality is pretty good compared to the $60 4k webcam I used. You have 3 manual settings you can set: on the back of the lens you have focus, then in the middle is aperture, and in the front is zoom. Focus and zoom can be fixed with screws on the side after assembly. The camera is instantly recognized in OBS and allows you to choose different resolutions as well as adjust different visual settings. I will say that this camera needs very little light to look good, even wide open. I've set up a couple of ring lights on either side of my desk, but they're not the brightest, and I've had to spend quite a bit of time adjusting the camera settings via OBS to get it looking good when fiddling with an exposure and gamma combination, Brightness and Contrast Settings . Also, I added a color correction filter (again via OBS) for further customization. However, if you have bright light, you'll be much better off. Overall this is a solid camera that's definitely not your typical 'webcam' class camera, but it's not a fancy Sony or Canon either - it sits right in the middle, just make sure you have decent lights, and You will finish!
