Not sure if I tightened it properly or if someone stole it. Pooh. The threaded part that attaches the antenna to the truck is a completely separate part. This is a double male. The antenna itself is a socket, as is the truck's receiver. The antenna disappeared after a month of use. The duplicate male part is still on the truck. I will order it again and make it double tight. My FM signal was noticeably weaker, but I still listen to satellite most of the time.
