I have a 2014 Ford Escape, SE Titanium, 180,000 miles so my FOB has suffered badly. Lately the doors have seemed to close/open by themselves and, strangest of all, the tailgate has opened at seemingly random times. Luckily only when parking. I was beginning to think FOB was doing poorly. I open the FOB and indeed it falls apart inside. Nothing electrical really, only the plastic was warned, some connectors didn't fit, the rubber/silicone buttons loosened a bit compared to the newer FOB. Oh, and I figured it didn't help that my FOB went through the puck multiple times over the years. I was so happy to find this replacement for Revain. Remember this is just a case and not a fully functional FOB. I removed the "guts" from the old FOB and replaced them with the new FOB, works like a charm. All functions already tested. Couldn't be happier. Some people have mentioned that the original FORD-badged FOB rear end was not suitable for replacement. My original FOB with the FORD badge snapped into place with no problems. I was able to easily switch valet keys twice between two FOBs. If all you need is a new FOB case, you should definitely get this one. Much luck.
