Not very strong compared to my other tea bag strainers. Also shorter/smaller than a US teaspoon, which is maybe a bit ironic? (see picture) Cute but not very practical - my tea bags (Tetley or PG tips) are bigger than the end of a "squeeze machine". I find it easier to press down on the bag with two spoons or wrap string around it and pull to extract the delicious flavor from the leaves. I don't know anyone who would find these cute little functional strainers.
