The price didn't bother me at all - $100 really is pennies compared to thousands of dollars for a helmet that most insurance companies still consider cosmetic and don't take over. We started using the pillow in early January, although our pediatrician saw no problem with our son's head. I've seen too many photo comparisons so I wasn't sure if his head was perfect. Here is a progress report for the last 30 or so days. My eyes tell me that our son's head shape has definitely improved. It's much more even on both sides and appears to be rounded at the back too. We use this pillow for sleeping and when he plays at his gym. He starts sleeping in it before bed and then I take it off before bed - I'm just too nervous to sleep under it at night. He also sits more with support, so we spend time on his stomach and do other things that don't strain his head. It is worth trying this pillow before other procedures.
