Did the trick for my 2004 Nissan Frontier. The only reason you need to remove the glove box (which is easy to do - just 4 screws on the 4 corners and 2 more on the latch) is if you also want to pull out the fan motor to check the camera for debris. Dorman (parts manufacturer) recommends doing this to ensure there isn't debris in the chamber that is causing your fan motor to draw too much current (which could cause your resistor to burn out). Removing the fan motor is also easy - 3 or 4 screws. The resistance itself changes easily - unplug the connector, desolder the old 2 screws, reverse the process. Small screws easily screw behind the carpeted interior - that's the only problem. Let's see how long this resistor lasts, but so far it has solved the problem - now the fan has 4 speeds again.
