My wife and I have a little cat named Lilly who came to our house one day. We have other cats and we let them play as much as possible. However, Lilly always ran away and wanted to go too far. That bothered us since we live quite close to the Autobahn. We bought this harness to be able to take it out to play but at the same time to keep it under control and safe. As we expected, at first she didn't like it at all. She didn't struggle when we put her on, just stood there. She didn't walk or run as usual. My wife built a "mouse" and tied a leash to it so it could move back and forth the length of our garden. Little by little she seemed to get used to it. She started associating wearing it with being outside. Let's hope that with more use it will only be safe in its original form. Every time she puts it on, she moves more. The dishes are very well made. It fits well and is very easy to put on and take off. Despite being attached with velcro, it has never come loose from it (as far as I know). I would recommend this product to those who want their cats to exercise but maintain some control over them.
