Ford makes two different ECUs, black and grey. This only works with the BLACK module. If your original is grey, DO NOT BUY THIS! Both modules look the same and have the same connector. They are NOT interchangeable! If you put this in a gray colored car it will most likely run but start to overshoot and backfire. They may even collapse and be stranded. The Accel catalog incorrectly lists the car models it works with. Just like the matching instructions from Revain. Put simply, if you have BLACK it's enough, if it's gray don't buy it. I should have known that when I bought it last summer. Nobody, not even Axel, knew what had happened. I had to research myself.
