xbox uses anamorphic widescreen, this cable does not have this feature. only a few games use it, but the ones that need to be set to 4:3 or they will look broken. :-( So many of these picture tweaks or using composite it's just a toss up! It's really good. DO NOT USE THE POWER SAVE MODE ON YOUR TV. Your picture will flicker if you have the power save mode and/or it is horizontal frequency scanning of the cable. Compared to other cables, this one has no performance, also it has a good heatsink. For me, skipping the throw is a requirement, I just want it to display 480p games (widescreen) properly BUT Xbox uses anamorphic widescreen , if you understand that you will not be surprised
