How I mounted mine on a wooden cabinet

I have been using this Sunbeam/Oster hair dryer for about 12 years. The dryer comes with instructions for mounting the bracket to the drywall using screws and anchors (supplied), but instead I mounted the bracket to a wooden cabinet. I will accompany you. I took the mount to my local hardware store. The store had the same size wood and sheet metal screws (e.g. #8, #10, #12, etc.) and the largest size that fit the holes was #10, so I bought three #10 Γ— 1/2 in. long screws. I could have bought wood screws for the part, but instead I bought self-tapping screws, which are basically identical but in 18-8 stainless steel (that's my fetish). The main thing is that I have three #10x1/2-inch pan head screws (no flat head). For hardwood, a 1/8" pilot hole allows the #10 thread to be tapped into the wood without pulling the wood apart, but my cabinet is softwood (probably pine) so I drilled 3/32" "Pilot holes instead (with a pin vise), being careful to only drill 1/2" deep (so I don't drill down the other side of the tree). Mount firmly to the wood surface. Finally I placed the hair dryer on the bracket and pushed it down to secure it in its final position. My photos show that I made two holes in my closet. The holes were finished with three Sunbeam 1632-020 dehumidifiers and the bottom holes were finished with two Oster 76832-710 dehumidifiers, which have a slightly shorter power cord. The bottom of the dryer covers all openings.
