At 10 months my granddaughter was pulling herself up by anything she could reach but couldn't keep her balance yet so I bought this playground to protect her when she arrived because I was fed up she had pursued her as she crawled, trying to scale everything in sight. But although I stood right there when she was placed in the playground and saw her pressing against the mesh wall inside the playground, she was injured. It so happened that the net we stretched as far as possible still had enough "give" to make the metal crossbars supporting it from the outside a dangerous hard object that could injure a child, albeit on the other side of the web web. Mesh - and it did. When my granddaughter fell into the net, her face hit the metal bars that support the net on the outside of this product, just below her right eye.
