The coffee inside is warmer than non-insulated presses, but it's smaller than you might think.
A pretty good coffee maker all round, keeping the coffee warm long enough to drink the whole batch. Remember that coffee presses are not designed to leave coffee on coffee grounds for hours. It's important to understand that a significant portion of the 34-ounce volume is coffee grounds, so you won't get more than a few cups of coffee out of it.
