This screen is amazing! My projector just projected onto the wall before the screen came up and it looked fine. Once I hung that 120 inch gray screen, it looked 20 times better! I have it in my master bedroom with a 200 lumen ultra short throw projector that is 32 inches from the screen. Frames will help you adjust the perfect picture and look amazing! The screen definitely gave me a better picture. Better resolution, better color contrast and looks much better with the light on. I chose the gray material because this is now my main TV in my room where we have a floor to ceiling window. With the curtains open, I can still watch it clearly and with pleasure during the day. These shades of gray really make a difference and prevent the image from being washed out by ambient light. Plus, it just looks great on the wall when you're not looking at anything. The installation took me a total of 45 minutes. The instructions can be a little confusing for some, but there are many videos on YouTube that make the process easy. This is my first projection screen so I have no comparison but I am very happy with this purchase. Note: I've argued between white and gray material for a while. I can honestly say I'm glad I chose gray given the amount of ambient light in my room. If there will be some light in the room you are placing the screen in, I would recommend choosing gray over white.
