Super easy to set up! Once you scan the code, it will be installed automatically. My best recommendation is to make sure you're on the 2.4GHz WiFi. I found a way to set this up by typing in my IP address which takes you to your router. You can enable guest wifi (for me my guest wifi is 2.4ghz) and change the name to make it easier to find in the connection list. Once you've done that and set up the connection in the app, you can select Guest WiFi and connecting your lightbulbs is a breeze! Once that task is done, Alexa will recognize it almost immediately, and you can add the room. Can't help with Google Home as I don't use it, but Alexa works phenomenally. Super happy with my purchase! I like to dim the lightbulbs to about 15% at dinner. Very quiet environment. 😍
