I ordered this fan for outdoor use as I don't need an outlet. The size and quality of the fan is the same as a fan you can buy in a big store. It has a digital display and buttons you press to power on and speed up/decelerate. The fan is quiet on low settings and audible on high. The fan is running and delivering the expected amount of air for a consumer fan. If you are looking for a wireless fan, it will get the job done in a traditional setting.
