Review on DMC 1768-18 Chenille Hand Needles, 6-Pack, Size 🧵 18 - Superior Craftsmanship for All Your Sewing Needs by Heather Shaw

So I bought this item thinking that "six pack" was a pack of six needles. No, I have six packs of six needles each! I had to sew two very thick pieces of cord together (think strong backpack straps) and after much research I decided that an 18 gauge needle would work best. I know nothing about sewing or needles. I bought these strong threads, watched some YouTube videos on backstitching and got to work. It turns out to be very difficult to manipulate without the needle pusher, but I managed to get it working. The needles were very sharp and that certainly helped. I had trouble making reverse stitches look good, but that was due to my poor sewing skills, not the needles. In the end I actually did a decent job and fixed what I needed to fix. I left two packs for myself and gave my mother 4 packs. Very very happy with this item and so happy I got 36 pins instead of 6.
