Review on Winegard 47315 RP 4000 Roof Kit by Jonathan Lamp

Worked great to replace my old one which was rounded on the end of the handle. My biggest installation tip for folks is to put some lube on the bearing surfaces above and below the helical gear. This makes a big difference in the effort required to rotate the antenna up and down. The included assembly instructions don't mention this, just spray with silicone spray. I did this and reassembled it as directed but it was still tight so I disassembled everything again and applied a small amount of lube to the top and bottom of the helical gear. Big difference! The antenna has never worked so well.
