This is a good key fob replacement rather than buying a new one to the dealer for over $300 a key. I ordered this to replace a worn key fob for my old S class and the process was easy. I slowly pulled out the key, removed the battery case and removed the circuit board. I reinstalled everything in reverse order in 10 minutes, everything works as it should. The only difference is where the check engine light is there is a constant red dot, the key head is a bit thicker, but there is no problem plugging it in or removing it from my ignition, and the key release button is red instead of black on my factory key, im Generally satisfied with the outcome and the outcome.
