Yes. Item No. Lighting

As can be seen in the photos, this is definitely out. I read that you need to update your software to fix this. I have made. Nothing yet. As you can see I turned off all the headlights, I even turned off the parking lights hoping they wouldn't get in the way (and they didn't). No candles. Other colors are not projected. black room When the TV is off, it displays a very faint white color (which I think is correct). When the TV turns on with a black picture, everything is red. Why? It makes no sense. Colors need to be SUPERDOMINANT on screen to be effective, but dark colors and blacks are really confusing and difficult. Black makes green or red, which obviously shouldn't be the case. Tried to observe the cable type and look at the pictures. The background is black. Why is green dominating? Even the scene where the coat turned bluish. This makes some sense given the color reproduced in the scene from the film. But light green? there is no grass For example why? It makes no sense. This thing needs help. I am considering ordering a replacement or throwing it away entirely. Govee makes some pretty good products so I'm SURPRISED that this has happened and I'm even more surprised that it happens so often given the reviews. Should I contact support at all? Many reviews say otherwise. For $150 you expect this thing to do the job, especially when it's trying to compete with Philips. Get your things in order, Govi. I was a proud user and frankly very disappointed with this product. And I have many Govee lights. This makes me doubt the company given all the negative reviews. It cost $100 for Black Friday and still not worth it considering the issues. Too bad. I'll give it time to see if my troubleshooting can fix it, but I'm not a software developer so I have my doubts. In the end I'll probably go back and pocket my money or buy a product that works as advertised.
