This is my Holy Grail Cleanser because I only wear black. As a precaution, I hang most of my clothes to dry rather than tumble dry. However, I dry my black socks and dark scarves. The attached photos show my black robe which I have been wearing for 19 months. Nothing has shrunk or faded after weekly washing. I use less than the recommended amount in a cold or lukewarm washing machine and every wash comes out perfect. Because of dry skin and eczema, I don't use heavily perfumed detergents and fabric softeners. It never annoyed me. Expensive, but one container lasts me for several months at a time. I'm only on my second container in the last 19 months and my current bottle is pretty full. I can't compare this to any other black wash because it's the only one I trust my entire wardrobe with. I made my first purchase purely based on reviews. I paid for it with my coin and was not lured by the company in any way.
