I wanted to buy a new cotton comforter for our master bedroom. I ordered the Farmhouse Cotton duvet because it is 100% cotton and not made in China. When I opened the package, I smelled a fishy/chemical odor (that's the only way to describe it. I washed it immediately and the smell seemed to wear off, so I put it on my bed. Well, in the middle of the night, I went to pick up the covers and immediately noticed the smell was back I will be washing it again and if the smell persists I will have to return it Really disappointed this item was made in India and I am not sure what your process is " for processing and dyeing blankets, but whatever they use it stinks!
