Waste of money. I saw the seller's review on YouTube. I was happy to find this heater and bought 2 for my nano aquariums. The heaters are not powerful enough to evenly heat my 5 gallon nano tanks. The cable is very stiff (even without the anti-bite coiled cable cover) making it difficult to position the heater and difficult to exit the back of the tank properly. It took the heater two days to heat the area immediately around her to turn off, and then only about 15 minutes before turning back on. Because of this, heat varies too widely even over a small area to be reliable, and this creates cold and warm zones throughout the reservoir. It was obviously built to be indestructible, but at the expense of functionality. Great idea, bad execution.
