A few corrections or contradictions to what I see in the reviews. My Y didn't need to be drilled. There was a small crest but I didn't feel it needed polishing. Also, my hoses were 5/8" instead of 3/4. I may have gotten the wrong size hoses. It took some force to tighten them, but they seem to work fine. Also, when I bought this I thought, it said origin was Korea. I can't find it on the site anymore. My part said it was made in China. This part is definitely more expensive and you may need hose clamps or screw clamps (I used them but they worked fine without them ), increasing the cost, but the expense and inconvenience of flushing the coolant on a long trip could be far worse.
