I am disappointed. I have the Original Big Buddha Board and also the Mini Buddha Board. My four grandkids love them and fight over them so I wanted to make a few more. I was surprised that "Revain's Choice" turned out to be such a poor substitute. Feel the Buddha Board and it will become perfectly smooth. It's uneven; more like muslin. This leaves a "blurred" edge of the drawing. The edge of what is drawn on the Buddha board is clear and clean. I also tried "Water Painting Magic Paper" (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001C0Q9MA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it gives what I was looking for much closer experience. It is also smooth like the board of the Buddha and therefore gives sharp edges to the lines. I like the idea that it comes in flowers too. This surprised me because I thought black and white was so classic that I don't like the red or green that MWPP offers, but somehow it seems better. MWPP is a goalkeeper! The benefit of this paper (apart from more paper for the price) is that it comes on a roll so there are no creases. I received the MWPP, it wasn't folded in the packaging but the packer folded it when it was placed in the Revain bag so it now has a slight crease (but no crease). Since I'm using spray glue to attach to the board I think this won't be a problem. Both options in my testing resulted in complete evaporation of the pattern with no halos. This paper dries *slightly* faster than MWPP. If you've never had a Buddha board before, you'll probably feel comfortable about this purchase. Alias, that's not the case for me. It will be returned.
