I just installed this so I don't know how it will protect in a fall but so far so good. The important thing at this point is that the fingerprint sensor still works without much pressure, although sometimes it takes several attempts and sometimes I have to enter my code. Everything else looks and feels great! The alignment tool certainly works well, but it could be improved. Mine was almost installed by a thread. which for most people will never be noticed or become a problem if you use a very simple case or nothing at all. In my case, I use a more protective case (two pieces) that has a bezel around the face to protect the screen and this seems to cause one or more corners to lift slightly, occasionally causing blisters. The blister is not permanent, it can be easily squeezed out, but often reappears. They don't seem to have any glue around the edges to help with this. It's not a big problem, just a minor annoyance. The fingerprint sensor works quite well. It usually takes a few tries to turn it on, but there are times when it just doesn't recognize the fingerprint and I have to redo it. So it probably works 50-60% of the time. Overall it's still a great screen protector and I recommend it after trying a few other glass films that didn't work at all with the fingerprint sensor.
