They work very well
They are great and don't come loose like the ones held by plastic. I had the same fitting but with a non-threaded plastic insert on the end. It's 100 times better, they don't come loose and no plastic thing known as a padlock lasts very long. Trust me on that. Now I have two on my car from -6an to 3/8 and life is great.
