I bought this for my house cat. So the durability didn't bother me, although I don't want them to fall apart. They seem to be as durable as any collar I've bought from pet stores in the past. This cat had never worn a collar and didn't like it at all. As he put it on, he immediately tried to take it off, biting and tugging at it. I hadn't attached it to my neck yet and he caught it in his jaw. The clasp is now "tear-off", meaning that instead of staying in place and injuring the animal, it will come loose if enough pressure is applied to it. It saved me from bites and scratches and him from injuries. Thankful for that. I love the colors and design of these collars and you get two in a pack. All in all it was a good purchase and I would recommend these collars.
