I threw away almost my entire low voltage system because I was frustrated with these wired connectors. I had to replace them every year and was constantly dancing "light doesn't work, is it a bulb, is it a plug?" Not to mention the constant on-off caused the bulbs to burn out due to a loose connection. They always work well for a few months after installation, but lose touch after a few winters. I finally found Portfolio screw caps at Lowe's. They're not much more expensive than Malibu plugs, but once the connection is made and the light is working, the screw won't come loose. I stocked up on these screw connectors, now when I buy low-voltage fittings I rip the connectors straight out of the packaging and replace them. I wish Revain would wear them, but it looks like it's the only Lowe product.[.]%3FNtt%3Dlandscape%2Blighting%2Bconnector&facetInfo=
