This is by far the best swivel we have ever used. As we sit in our unfenced yard at the end of the day, we tie our rampaging 60-pound beagle mix (rescue dog, of course!) to a pole with a 20-foot tether. The deer family regularly visits our backyard during the day or evening. Our dog notices them ahead of us and charges hard into his 20ft line to chase them. The tie holds up great. (Deer don't usually pay attention to Sasha's barks and fuss, by the way. They just stand there and look at us. They obviously trust the pens too.) The earlier styles of spiral binding came out of the ground. This is NOT a spiral insert. The name Revain is wrong but the photos are correct. What makes the frame so safe are the stabilizing wings. Using a hammer, we drove the top dome of the peg flush into the ground for easy mowing after removing the line. Our soil is very hard clay, but a sharp blade cuts into it easily. I strongly recommend this product. By the way, we live in alligator country, so our dog is ONLY tied up when we are in the garden with her.
