I love the feel of these socks. I'm a man with small feet and huge calf muscles. Pull up to the top of your calves and stay in place all day. They are very dense but soft and comfortable. If you don't want to sit tight, you shouldn't buy compression stockings. Now the part with 1 star. I got 6 pairs for Christmas in 2015. When I was about to put on my first pair, one of the two socks tore at the top, leaving a hole in the sock in the calf area. It was disappointing but I blamed it on bad luck and put it on anyway. The hole kept getting bigger and bigger as the day went on until I finally threw it away when I took it off. The next morning I unbuttoned another pair and one of them burst a hole at the top as I was putting it on. It looked like dry rot. They were very easy to tear at the top, but by combining a left side of each of the first two pairs I ended up with a pair of "good" socks. In short, out of the 6 pairs I started with, after 4 months I only have 3 pairs left. I wear each pair once a week on average as I also wear other compression stockings. They feel nicer to the touch, but I have to treat them like fine china to avoid tearing them. For 30β¬ I expected a little more. While I still love how they feel, I find it hard to recommend anything that so easily self-destructs when you put it on.
