Very easy to use, effective, comfortable design. If you follow the instructions, everything works. Reading some of the reviews I don't think people follow very simple instructions. The pump must be in the OFF (O) position when you plug it into the car outlet. Note, however, that the flashlight will light up. You want it, but you don't want to hear any noise. If yes, then it is activated and it is not good. Then attach the camera to the tire. The display will then show the current barometric pressure (also note that these are four different units, so if you are using psi make sure it is set to psi by pressing R until you get to the unit you want. This is not mentioned in the directions). Then press the + or - buttons to get the desired inflation. WAIT for the display to STOP FLASHING (this does not apply to directions and may confuse people). Then turn on the switch (I). And let him do his thing. The machine will turn off when the desired air pressure is reached. Detach the tube from the tire and you're done.
