I bought these after my doctor recommended me medical compression stockings before surgery. Let me tell you they were better quality than the ones you get at the medical supply store and half the price. Provides excellent compression support that relieves leg pain. There are silicone nubs on the top to keep them from slipping. I have large hips so they dug into my thighs at first leaving marks that made wearing uncomfortable. After about a week of wearing, they stretched a bit and started to sit better on the hips. This is to be expected with compression stockings. Perhaps an adjustable waist belt would have been better. Otherwise a great product at a great price.
