I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Its pros:
Lightweight, ated image stabilizer, good aperture, good picture over the entire range of focal lengths
Some cons:
The front lens can be slightly twisted by hand in autofocus mode and focus is knocked out, rather noisy, plastic bayonet mount
