I think this set of brushes would be great for beginners or even those who don't wear much makeup or too often. The only kind of makeup I wear is lipstick, eye shadow, eye liner, and I fill in my eye brows. I'll only use foundation if I'm covering something up like a tattoo or blemish. I like these brushes because they are labeled; since I'm not familiar with makeup brushes this was really helpful. I used the foundation brush, eyeliner brush, brow brush, eye shadow, and lip brush. All of the brushes are extremely soft to the touch. The foundation brush was big and blended the foundation evenly and well. The lip brush was kind of small, but it did get the job done and was soft on my lips. The eyeliner brush is thin so it creates small, precise lines. Now I've used eye shadow brushes before and this one wasn't too different from others I've used; it gets the job done. My favorite of them all is the eye brow brush. I usually use an angled brow pencil to fill in my brows then another brush to create the lines for my brows; this brush does all of that. I just use this with my brow pomade and created the perfect brow for me. It will be my go to brow brush from here on out. The bag that the brushes come in is of good quality as well and fits well with the brushes. There is even a bit of room for some extra makeup items that you may need or use on the go.
