There is a plastic coating on both sides of the pendant that I wasn't aware of until it started peeling off.

It was very secure so I left it on for a while but as soon as I had to take it off the paint on the pendant started chipping. It's cute and I love it, I recommend you seal it with a clear coat or something before attaching it to anything, but I think the product should already come with something like that and not just exposed paint, which flakes off.
