Beautiful and practical. Stable construction but not too heavy. There are NO horizontal bars for puppies to climb on. Bends in the shape of the letter "Cโ or "Sโ. I use this to block access to my stairs. I also have another one to guide or corner my Italian Greyhound where his piss pad is. I see it as a piece of furniture because my dog needs it. Buy this if you can't look at cheap/wire/plastic gates.
