TLDR: Don't trust this device. When I first connected my HDMI cable to the iPhone, it didn't work. As soon as I connected the power cord, my monitor prompted me to download EZcast. It seemed weird to me so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. It turns out that this device can access your settings and data. Such a device can be used as a decoy to leak your data to hackers. Stay away from such a product.
