Works for everything I've tried.

I am using this KVM in some unusual ways and it still works great in all cases. , a RedDragon M711 gaming mouse and an older 30" Dell DVI monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. The keyboard and monitor worked without any problems. I'm getting exactly the 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz resolution I'm supposed to be getting (this probably requires your graphics card and monitor to have two DVI connectors, as dual-DVI doesn't convert to HDMI very easily at high resolutions). From mouse emulation, KVM doesn't work with a mouse with more than 3 buttons when using the emulation, but if you have buttons on KVM to switch inputs and you have keyboard shortcuts, I don't really know what you need mouse emulation for. Turning it off simply sends the mouse signal directly to the computer. To turn off mouse emulation, you can do the following steps: 1) Hold down the Num Lock key. 2) Hold down the Num Lock key and press hyphen/minus (-). ) Press M (you should hear the beep again and any mouse should work now) It's possible that complex keyboards won't work with KVM. I don't think you can disable keyboard emulation/hotkeys. I have three computers connected to KVM. The first is a desktop computer with a dual DVI port that works great. The second is a laptop with HDMI output. I had to use an adapter to switch from dual DVI to KVM. Unfortunately, my laptop supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 and my monitor doesn't support that resolution as it's 16:10. So let's move on to the next resolution, 1280x800. It's a little low, but I found the display looked fine at this resolution when I went to the display settings and zoomed in to 150%. I think I could do a higher resolution with a newer monitor, but I really don't need it. The third device is a 5-port Windows Phone/Continuum Sabrent docking station. The KVM connects to the docking station using a dual DVI-HDMI adapter and a single USB cable. The Windows Phone connects to the dock via a USB-C connector. This makes Windows Phone work like a desktop PC with Windows 10. I can enter text on a large monitor using the keyboard. I can move files between my phone and my computers using a drive, just like with folders on my desktop. I can add locations to my map using the mouse. A minute ago a phone popped up with a new story I wanted to check out, so I pressed the KVM button to switch to the phone on the big screen, used my mouse to open the Messages app, and to that one navigate history, and so on it was. worked absolutely flawlessly. It's actually incredible and one of the reasons why everyone should be using Windows Phone. However, the point of this review is that KVM worked perfectly even when connected to the phone via the docking station. It's also worth noting that this KVM is a heavy, durable steel device. In fact, I was surprised at how big and heavy it is. It definitely feels very premium compared to other plastic components.
