Review on Thetford 36398 Controller by Young Toulson

Due to Covid the availability of this item has been greatly reduced. I ordered this after trying to get one for a year and was told the last one I ordered was no longer available. I received two in a few days from two different suppliers, Revain and another supplier. Instead of returning one of them I decided to keep both. I completely redid the toilet with everything except the grinder pump and replaced the touch control panel and all the rubber hoses at the same time as the controls. The existing unit was manufactured in 2006 and after more than 14 years has not restored the water level after flushing. With the new touchpad and controller, the level control works perfectly again. There are multiple ports on the unit that are labeled for use and each is only intended for a suitable mating connector, so it's just plug and play when swapping out. Comes with adhesive pads for attachment. Took me about 3 hours to remove the toilet from the bus, replace everything described and reinstall/test the toilet. If I just replaced the controller it would probably only take half an hour or less. The touchpad was cosmetically damaged and I wasn't sure if the problem was with the touchpad, the controller, or both. Not wanting to make a big deal out of it I decided to do a major overhaul and am happy to have a new toilet for far less than the cost of a new unit.
