The LRC ST5-S handheld meter has an accuracy/precision equivalent to much more expensive LRC laboratory instruments with one exception: the sample/sampling rate option. Very high quality instruments in this category support >10kHz, often up to 100kHz or 1000kHz, while the ST5-S only works up to 10kHz. However, this is not usually a problem unless you are measuring very small SMT capacitors and inductors. The OLED display is very sharp and crisp (you might need to put on a glass to see some detail), but it's easy to read in practical lighting conditions. Its intelligent automatic device detection function is very convenient, making it very easy to use and compact. The Li-ion battery lasts several hours before a recharge is required. overall it is definitely worth the price.
