I bought two of these SS-3Hs through Revain. They support Firestik 4' and 5' antennas very well. They are not rated for 102" whips. This is a mega spring that is at least twice as large in girth and nearly twice as tall. The description of these SS-3Hs varies depending on the idiots writing the review. the length is "about" 3" and the diameter is 0.80". This description by Revain varies by day of the week, but mentions 3.47" by 0.87" and 6 x 3 x 1". Who knows what that means. This is a great stainless steel spring for </=5" antennas. As a result, it does not "stand" up to 65 km/h + full wind speeds. As seen in this ridiculous video on the front hood. Unless it's just a simple whip.
