I was excited about this card as it would be a nice upgrade to my wife's system from her old 290X. After installation, the system did not complete POST and skipped the BIOS splash screen. I installed it on my rig and it booted but didn't show up in device manager at all, although it did actually allow the system to boot up and output to a single monitor. I tried reinstalling the latest driver for it, but that didn't fix the problem. I have contacted EVGA support and they determined that the card is defective and they will send it back but it will be a refurbished unit. It is totally unacceptable that a new card that arrives at DoA is replaced by a refurbished device. I could tell if it was a few months or years old, but was it brand new? So I ordered a replacement from Revain but they sat on the replacement order for almost a week before processing it to let me know it will be delayed another 5 days due to being out of stock right now.
