Internal Components Bait and Switch

Release Date Revain had another image of a completely different version of the EVGA 1660ti. It had two fans and that's what I wanted. After I bought it and checked my tracking info later in the week the picture changed to its current form with only 1 fan and three slot design. It doesn't work in my computer case. So I have to return this card and get another one that works.

Great for streaming on a budget!

When I first bought the card, I ordered a model with two fans. Revain didn't list the right card and I got a fatter 3 slot model. I didn't care TBH, the cards work the same way. Now that I have the card in my system I have no complaints. Looks good too! Starting from 1060 3GB this is a noticeable improvement. It delivers decent framerates, but the main benefit for me is being able to stream my games so they twitch without a game herd. I recommend this card to anyone looking to upgrade their…

DoA Arrived - Internals

I was excited about this card as it would be a nice upgrade to my wife's system from her old 290X. After installation, the system did not complete POST and skipped the BIOS splash screen. I installed it on my rig and it booted but didn't show up in device manager at all, although it did actually allow the system to boot up and output to a single monitor. I tried reinstalling the latest driver for it, but that didn't fix the problem. I have contacted EVGA support and they determined that the…

Impressive value for money.

I was a bit skeptical about this graphics card. Especially since it is an untested technology that has only just been released. However, after getting mine today and seeing firsthand the performance gains over the 1050 Ti and 1060 6g graphics cards. i am a believer It's a BIG graphics card for the price and runs whatever you throw at it with ease. This is a powerful 1080p device. Playing games at 1440p is also possible and very smooth. 4k isn't great for current games and applications, but it…

Ideal for a mid-range gaming system

Best value for money unless you're trying to build a $10,000 monster space heater. I've always been a PC gamer on a budget, and in that sense, this card is an absolute blessing. It runs great in the humble Lenovo ThinkCentre M720 chassis with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and an Intel Core i5 8400 processor. I haven't tested it on newer AAA versions, but it plays Dark Souls III and Fallout 4 with the highest graphics settings. Do not exceed 60 degrees Celsius in a cramped factory hall. However, there are…

Solid workmanship, works great.

Amazing value. I had a GTX 770 for about 6 years and finally decided to upgrade. I'm very satisfied and happy with how well I can now run games (very high-ultra at 1080p). Compared to other brands, EVGA's build quality is very solid, with no cheap or loose components. I'm very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their card on a budget under $350. If you can save an additional $60-$80, I would recommend getting the RTX 2060. Edit: 2.28.19 Please don't be discouraged by…

Updated from EVGA 1060 6G OC, happy with 1080p resolution difference

This is a great card for 1080p gaming and the performance gain on my modest system makes the upgrade from the excellent EVGA 1060 6G OC noticeable. I was afraid the difference wouldn't be worth the cost, but so far I like the result. I chose EVGA based on the build quality and durability of the last few EVGA cards I've owned and there's no reason to think this card will be any different. I have an I5-4400 on an old Dell MB with 16GB DDR3 RAM. and a 750W power supply in a Coolermaster case. This

Don't buy a fan or it's a great card

Thermals and Cooling First, the single fan only provides good airflow through half the heatsink, the rest gets something but nothing notable. even with holes in the heat sink, which is supposed to let air through, very little goes through. This is most likely due to the vertical edges blocking much of the rest of the map. If the fins were oriented horizontally, the air would get onto a large portion of the radiator. I haven't used anything like FurMark or anything that blows up the card, but…

Great GPU at a great price!

TL;DR Great GPU at a great price. Only air-cooled, but still impressive. Longer story: I had an overpriced GTX 690 in my Alienware PC. I later replaced it with a cheaper and better quality EVGA GTX 980Ti. After a few years I noticed that the GPU gets very hot. There was another PC error that destroyed this GPU so I replaced it with this one. A little later I built a new PC and installed this GPU. After the 980Ti, I feel like I can't settle for a non-Ti GPU with less than 6GB of VRAM. This GPU…
