I have used this with m Rode VideoMic NTG which can use both TRRS and TRS. I have this 10ft TRS-TRS to connect to my Canon 5DM4. At first everything worked fine until the connection started to disappear. I have to constantly reconnect, rotate, or lick the TRS to get a stable audio connection. I do not know what's up. I don't know what is causing these connection problems. If the camera's audio gain signal didn't appear on the display, I wouldn't even know that the cable was not properly connected to the camera. I have no problem using a Rode VideoMic NTG cable with a TRS to TRS cable. So I can only assume that it is a problem with this cable. The return/exchange period has expired. And this problem really troubled me. I'm so sad.
