Star deduction due to lack of protection. I bought it as an alternative to my Samsung book cover. After less than a month of use, it still looks good but has lousy protection. My tablet fell out of my hand in the book case, which has no protection on the sides, and was undamaged. That thin body wasn't so good. Last weekend I fell off the keyboard stand while sitting and the tablet fell face down out of the case. The corner of the body is broken off. A few days later it fell from under my arm and the tablet jumped out of the case again, this time the tablet was scratched. I have never had an instance of a tablet or phone falling out of a case when dropped and I have never used "industrial" cases for my phones or tablets. I think part of the problem is the cover slipping in. In most cases, the cover is a bit stiff when it's retracted, but not on this one. If you push slightly to the right, the front cover will slide off the edge of the case. The ease with which my tablet popped out of the case shows that it's not as secure as it needs to be to protect the tablet from real interference. I'm just glad it didn't cost more.
