Before purchasing this item I searched online for several similar tripod ring lights. The most common negative feedback was that the ring light broke easily or stopped working etc. The second most common negative feedback was that the tripod was wobbly or unreliable and then wouldn't hold the camera or the whole thing would fall apart. etc. I got mine 3 days ago and didn't use it until 2 nights ago and have been using it in many different ways and for different purposes ever since. This is where I suspect most people who leave negative reviews are wrong (although we'll see how that feels for me in the coming weeks): 1. They expected high quality at a low price. I think the quality and the products received are worth the price I paid. I truly believe I got what I paid for. I mean I have a tripod that turns into a selfie stick, an additional smaller tripod for the table top, a remote and two other items and the ring light itself for about $40. I think that's very good for a not so good quality sturdy tripod.2. While the tripod isn't very heavy or durable, you can still make it work for you if you don't have cats or kids to knock it over or pick it up. I mean if you want to shoot outdoors maybe not on a windy day? don't know.3. The ring light seems fine to me, I don't think it will break until I'm careful with it. I mean I use it and when I'm done with it I immediately put it in the box it came in (because there are cats in my room). So if you know how to take care of things, they will last a long time. But again, I'll see if there are any issues in the coming weeks because I'm using it pretty much every day at home at the moment (Covid 19). money, and I can even offer to buy the items separately. But if you think you're a careful person and you take care of your stuff, then I think it's a pretty good investment. Especially if it's something you use occasionally or every day for a short time. This has to go on. This is my humble opinion/review but I will be updating my review in about a month just to let you know if everything is still working for me.
