Review on Pccooler Moonlight Series 120Mm RGB LED Fan - Enhancing PC Performance With Dual Light Loop Quiet Fan And Various Light Modes by Nick Palacio

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super great quality at a fraction of the price of big name brands! A++

Took me a few minutes to set these up and set a fan profile up through the BIO's (ASRock motherboard) they are dead silent doing normal tasks and provide good air flow during stress (You will need to make a profile or they run at a default of 60% of max RPM).

In the 3 pack a 3 way fan splitter is provided so you can just make a single profile and it will adjust all 3 fan speeds. My camera was able to take photos of exactly what they look in person minus the video hard to capture LED's without bleeding on video.I am pretty busy so I did not get a chance to try the controller that is included but it has 3 buttons for "Mode" "Light" and "Speed" so you will be able to control the fans without a 5V RGB motherboard or PWM for those running older computer components (All you need is a molex connector from your power supply).Pros:- Can do all standard RGB colors + White with saturation lowered or dragged into the "white space" of the RGB software (The color will be a artificial bright white kind of like car LEDs instead of a warm white like EVGA graphics card color).- Works with every motherboard manufacturer with a 5V header which will eliminate the need for multiple software programs.- PWM support through motherboard or also through the controller that comes with the "3 Fan Moonlight Pack".- Not too loud at 100% speed compared to other big brand names and dead silence at low speeds!- LED'S don't bleed through.Cons:-If purchasing single fan refill you will need to buy an 3 pin RGB adapter unless you have a gigabyte motherboard.

Pros
  • Fans are great for the money. RGB hub works well, move plenty of air
Cons
  • The dual light loop design may be too bright for some users, making it uncomfortable to look at the fan
