Installing a real nightmare in e92 m3

Assembly would be much easier if the rubber seal were different. I have attached a photo showing the original against this lamp. You can see there is a gap difference that makes it very difficult to get in and pinch. We ended up shaving the seal a bit. On the e92 m3, access is from the top rather than the rear, making things even more difficult. The thermal sync on them is also loose and spins like you have to screw them in, Loctite took care of that problem. They are definitely not as pretty and dense as factory lightbulbs. Looking at the LUX bulbs it looks like the rubber gasket is a bit thinner which will solve the problem with them. They look much prettier and more modern than the usual yellow angel eyes.
