Review on Heat Storm HS 1500 IMO Portable Infrared by Jessica Harrison

I'm surprised by the amount of positive feedback - thought it was just "normal". Briefly about my situation: my apartment building does not switch on the heating for a while, but it gets cold; Inside temperature 65 Fahrenheit. I have an oil heater for the main room but I wanted this for the smaller bedroom so I don't have to lug a big one around every night. He basically heated the room, but not completely: I was two degrees. The Fahrenheit temperature is higher than I wanted, and it was still about 4 degrees Fahrenheit below that temperature! So I was still cold. But most of the time it's very noisy. Other reviews have said the noise isn't bad - I really disagree. When I was away from my computer (I often turn on a podcast and go to do the dishes, clean up, etc.) I couldn't hear him because of the noise. I wanted to like it but it just doesn't work for a zero heat room anymore. It could work as extra heating and for those who don't mind the noise but not for me.
